About this role

The Analytics Business Specialist supports the product lifecycle by researching and providing the groundwork for Analytics product improvements and updates in support of strategic goals within the organization. This position will identify the initial concepts or reported issues, assessing the impact of changes or issues, developing specific work-efforts to resolve issues or improve the product, collecting and documenting requirements for work-efforts, developing end-user engagement work products with an effective communication plan.

Responsibilities

Support end-user engagement processes such as assisting credit unions and internal users in the creation of reports
Research data questions/issues and reporting solutions back to the BI Analysts when a defect is found, or improvement is needed
Design and develop new reports to solve complex business problems
Create and maintain educational assets and training materials
Facilitate internal and external training classes

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Science, Data Science, Applied Math, Business Intelligence or a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experienceThree (3) years product service/support or client relationship experience within the financial services industryTwo (2) years Data Analyst or Business Analyst role with experience in large data sets, identifying trends, and relational databaseTwo (2) years of experience with data delivery or analytic tools/applicationsDemonstrates a basic commercial awareness of the credit union and financial services industries and the role of processors, payment networks, and major aspects of the payments ecosystem including card management, card and ACH transactions, rewards, fraud mitigation. Comprehensive knowledge of one or more of the noted subject areas is preferred
