Buyer

The Buyer position supports the City of Lawrence Finance Department by performing administrative, technical, and professional procurement work to ensure the City is supplied with necessary materials, equipment, and services. This role manages the full procurement lifecycle, including competitive solicitations, purchase order compliance, contract administration, and sourcing activities. The position promotes efficiency, transparency, and responsible stewardship of City resources while maintaining compliance with applicable policies and internal controls.
