Cardiac Sonographer

The Cardiac Sonographer performs cardiac ultrasound services and procedures for adult patients, including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress tests, to diagnose and assess cardiac abnormalities. The role involves preparing equipment, prepping patients, reviewing images, and reporting findings to identify the purpose of the examination. The sonographer also assists physicians in procedure and operating rooms to aid in complex procedures and decrease risk factors.
