Cardiac Sonographer

The Cardiac Sonographer performs cardiac ultrasound procedures, including 2-Dimensional, Doppler, M-Mode, and supports TransEsophageal Echo, stress echoes, and contrast procedures while observing patient safety practices. The role involves receiving and completing requisitions, entering relevant data and measurements into the diagnostic imaging information system, and preparing patients for specific procedures. The position is part of a patient/client and family-centred framework and continuum-based care model, adhering to established standards of professional practice and the organization's vision, values, and policies.
