**Location:** Mescalero, New Mexico **Employment type:** Full‑time **Department:** Food and Beverage ### Position Title The Market at the Mountain – Cashier ### Reports To The Market at the Mountain Manager / Supervisor ### Summary The Cashier maintains organized cash handling, credit‑card processing, and POS operations, and follows opening and closing procedures. • Contribute to shift, team, and departmental meetings | ### Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Maintain physical requirements of the job. - Accurately handle cash and process credit‑card transactions. - Perform opening and closing procedures for The Market at the Mountain restaurant outlets. - Deliver prompt, friendly, courteous, and professional service to customers and team members. - Perform cleaning duties as directed by the manager. - Lift and carry equipment, boxes of rental forms, brochures, and incoming packages. ### Education / Experience Requirements - High school diploma or GED. - One year of cashier experience (preferred). - Demonstrate IMGR&C values (Accountability, Productivity, Acceptance, Communication, Hospitality, Enthusiasm, etc.) and a collaborative, enthusiastic work style. ### Physical Demands - Frequently stand, walk, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. - Occasionally lift/move up to 50 lb. - Must be able to stand for several hours and use handheld communication devices. ### Work Environment - Loud noise level. - Exposure to second‑hand smoke, possible biohazardous fluids, and occasionally hostile guest situations. - May involve high‑stress conditions.
