Certified Court Interpreter

This position involves performing a wide variety of language interpretation activities on an assigned and as-needed basis for the Superior Courts of California, including parties to proceedings, court personnel, and the public. The role requires providing consecutive and simultaneous interpretation of courtroom proceedings, sight translation of legal documents, and other related interpreting services as directed by the court. The incumbent must maintain a valid certification or registration as a Court Interpreter issued by the Judicial Council of California.
