Certified Operator

This position is designed to provide individuals with little or no machining or grinding background with the skills needed to become a Certified Operator at Pratt & Whitney. The role involves a 3-week training program followed by 4-8 weeks of on-the-job training to set up and operate NC milling/grinding machines and vertical turret lathes. Employees will learn to verify part conformance, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve machining problems.
