About this role
The Chemist I is a full-time position within the Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene's Newborn Screening program, part of the University of Wisconsin–Madison. The role supports public health by performing clinical laboratory testing to help identify and guide treatment for metabolic and congenital disorders in newborns, children, and adults. The position operates under general supervision of the Chemist Supervisor and participates in professional development and quality management activities.
