Family Transition Place

Family Transition Place (FTP) is a Canadian non-profit women's shelter based in Orangeville, primarily serving the Dufferin area, that supports women and children affected by gender-based violence and abuse. They offer emergency shelter, outreach, individual and group counselling, sexual violence counselling and support through the Lotus Centre, and transitional support, all through a trauma-informed, client-centered approach. FTP also delivers youth education programs focused on building healthy relationships and operates a 24/7 crisis support line to connect people to immediate help.
