The Clinical Documentation Specialist (CDS) facilitates accurate documentation of severity of illness, expected risk of mortality, complexity of care, and quality in the medical record. The role involves extensive medical record review and interaction with members of the healthcare and ancillary teams to ensure accurate clinical documentation. This is a full-time, remote, day-shift position within the Clinical Documentation department.
