Improve Your Tomorrow
The College Access Mentor Specialist serves as the primary relationship-builder and college-going culture anchor for students in grades 6–8, delivering bi-weekly mentorship, identity-centered programming, and family engagement. This full-time, single-site leader is responsible for building a strong foundation that sustains students through high school and into college. The role focuses on fostering trust, guiding student development, and maintaining a consistent adult presence.
Improve Your Tomorrow (IYT) is the largest nonprofit dedicated to supporting boys and young men of color, helping them get to and through college. IYT provides mentorship, tools, and resources through programs spanning middle school to career, operating across multiple U.S. regions. Their mission is to see young men of color overrepresented in higher education and underrepresented in the criminal justice system.
