About this role

The Communications Director leads the Communications unit for the MCC compact in Côte d’Ivoire, overseeing all public relations, media outreach, and public information campaigns to ensure alignment with project objectives and budgets. Reporting to the CEO, the role builds collaborative relationships with project and sector leaders, manages communications staff, contracts, and budgets, and ensures consistent messaging across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead communications and public relations for the compact
Develop integrated communications strategy and messaging framework
Manage communications department budgets, contracts, and staff
Build and maintain networks with media, government, and civil society
Synchronize messaging with MCC Resident Mission and U.S. Embassy
