Communications Director

The Communications Director leads the Press and Public Information Unit at the NYC Department for the Aging, serving as the agency's spokesperson and managing all internal and external communications. The role involves overseeing media relations, social media operations, and the creation of marketing materials and press campaigns to promote services for older New Yorkers. This position reports to the Associate Commissioner for External Affairs and is responsible for directing the unit's staff and operations.
