Communications Dispatcher

This role is responsible for the proficient operation of communication and dispatch functions, including answering 911 and non-emergency lines, dispatching personnel, and maintaining situational awareness within the Public Safety Communications Center. The position requires accurate data entry into Computer Aided Dispatch systems and handling radio communications while adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations. The employee works closely with shift supervisors and other telecommunicators to ensure timely and courteous service to the public and law enforcement agencies.
