The Cecil Williams Community Ambassador at GLIDE supports placemaking and community-building in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood by serving as a visible, values-driven presence in the streets and public spaces. The role centers on connecting housed and unhoused residents, businesses, and other stakeholders to neighborhood resources and services while modeling empathy, respect, and inclusion.
