Community Safety Ambassador

The Community Safety Ambassador Program is part of San Francisco’s “Breaking the Cycle” initiative, deploying specialized ambassadors to provide services such as community engagement, intervention, de-escalation, and connections to care for individuals experiencing homelessness and behavioral health crises. The role involves working in a two-person team to promote safer and cleaner environments, stabilize incidents, and create positive outcomes through trauma-informed rapport building. This is a temporary, grant-funded, part-time position employed by Heluna Health.
