As a Computational Physicist at Proxima Fusion, you will develop and implement advanced numerical models that characterize fusion plasma behavior, focusing on designing, validating, and optimizing simulation tools. This hands-on technical role requires expertise in building scientific code using languages such as Python, Julia, C++, or Fortran, as well as utilizing modern development practices and LLM-based tools to enhance code quality and performance. You will collaborate with modellers and engineers to ensure stellarator designs meet plasma confinement requirements, while validating models against theoretical and experimental data.
