About this role

A Gender & Finance Consultant will support the GRIT program in Sri Lanka by developing gender-responsive investment strategies, training fund managers, and facilitating access to capital for women entrepreneurs. The role involves creating advocacy strategies, delivering training sessions, and collaborating with local and international stakeholders to advance gender lens investing.

Masters Degree in gender studies, international development/relations, social anthropology, law and women’s rights, finance, socio-economics, or other field directly related to the substantive area7 years of increasingly responsible professional experience in the area of gender equality and inclusionKnowledge and experience in gender and finance within the Sri Lankan contextDemonstrated experience developing training curriculum and facilitating training sessions using participatory approachesUnderstanding of human rights dimensions of gender, finance
