About this role

A senior Contracts & Commercial Manager will lead end-to-end commercial strategy, governance, and procurement for a major greenfield copper and gold mining project in South Australia. Reporting to the Project Director, the role involves establishing contracting models, managing complex tenders, overseeing claims and disputes, and ensuring robust commercial risk allocation across EPCM and owner-managed packages.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the project commercial strategy and contracting models
Lead tendering, negotiation, and award of major supply and construction contracts
Establish and enforce commercial governance procedures covering approvals and close-out
Manage commercial changes, variations, and proactive claims assessment
Partner with finance to ensure accurate forecasts and commercial reporting
