By convening industry, academic, and government partners, BioMADE funds and coordinates R&D, scale-up demonstrations, and workforce development to bring sustainable bioproducts from concept to commercialization. It focuses on creating a robust domestic bio-manufacturing ecosystem, improving supply chain resilience, and translating bioscience into real-world products. Through open collaboration, shared infrastructure, and clear pathways to scale, BioMADE aims to reduce reliance on fossil-based materials and advance U.S. leadership in advanced manufacturing.
