About this role

As a Controls Integration Engineer at Blue Origin, you will integrate, tune, and validate control algorithms on avionics and test stands for reusable space vehicles. You will lead Integrated Hardware-in-the-Loop (IHIL) environments, troubleshoot real-time control systems, and coordinate testing across hardware and software boundaries. This role requires bridging the gap between analysis and hardware operation to ensure safe, predictable system behavior for next-generation rocket programs.

Responsibilities

Integrate and deploy control algorithms onto avionics hardware
Design and operate Integrated Hardware-in-the-Loop test environments
Troubleshoot real-time control surfaces and actuators during testing
Lead test stations to gather requirements and generate logs
Correlate hardware behavior against model predictions for validation
