The Cook prepares and delivers all foods for residents, guests, and employees at the Lindsay Bloom retirement residence, ensuring proper food handling and adherence to therapeutic and specialty diet plans. This role involves reviewing menus, completing daily temperature audits, and participating in special occasion meal planning while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. The position requires a Food Handler's Certificate and experience in large quantity food preparation, preferably within a healthcare or retirement setting.
