Cook

The Cook position ensures the center meets Head Start Performance Standards for nutrition, CACFP guidelines, and NJ/PA Licensing Regulations. The role involves preparing and serving meals according to provided menus, maintaining proper food storage and handling practices, and coordinating with the Nutrition Coordinator. Additionally, the cook plans learning activities for children, involves parents in the nutrition program, and maintains cleanliness and inventory of the food service area.
