About this role

The Corporate Counsel I provides legal support and handles day-to-day contracting needs for assigned business units within a complex healthcare environment. This role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts while offering guidance on regulatory issues and contributing to the improvement of contracting processes. You will interact frequently with senior management, business partners, and privacy/security teams to ensure clear, actionable, and timely legal risk assessments.

Responsibilities

Draft, negotiate, and review commercial contracts and amendments
Provide counsel to business unit leadership on contractual and regulatory issues
Conduct legal research to stay current with case law and court opinions
Assist with risk management and litigation matters alongside outside counsel
Develop agreement templates and conduct training sessions for business units
