Counselor

The Counselor position provides individual and group counseling and case management to individuals receiving integrated substance abuse treatment and primary care services at the Montefiore Medical Center. The role involves developing and reviewing treatment plans, coordinating comprehensive services, and monitoring patient responses to methadone medication treatment. Counselors also conduct psychosocial evaluations, provide referrals, and ensure compliance with program policies and regulatory agencies.
