About this role

As a Data Center Engineering and Operations (DCEO) Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Engineer at NVIDIA, you will ensure compliance with safety regulations and company programs across data center facilities and laboratories in the eastern US. This role involves managing on-site inspections, hazard analysis, waste management, and training sessions for engineering staff while leveraging AI to improve documentation processes. You will coordinate with operations staff, vendors, and the EHS division to uphold federal, state, and local worker safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Conduct inspections and manage hazardous waste disposal and chemical inventories
Coordinate with vendors and teams to ensure safety during equipment testing and validation
Initiate and deliver training sessions on hazard analysis and electrical safety requirements
Serve as primary contact for external audits and compliance inspections within data center operations
Develop standard operating procedures and emergency protocols while generating corrective action plans
