About this role

The Data Center Services Engineer will support Fiserv's primary Sydney data centre and other national sites, handling installation, relocation, and maintenance of IT hardware and structured cabling. The role involves daily operational support, vendor coordination, and ensuring a clean, safe, and compliant data‑centre environment while producing utilisation and capacity reports.

Responsibilities

Install, relocate, and maintain IT hardware and structured cabling
Perform copper and fibre cabling, labeling, documentation, and DCIM updates
Support daily operations, vendor management, and facility access
Assist with disaster recovery, UPS/black‑building tests, and infrastructure upgrades
Produce weekly and monthly utilization and capacity reports
