The Data Governance Lead will advance the AGCO’s enterprise data governance program, developing and maintaining policies, standards, and frameworks to ensure data is managed as a strategic asset. The role provides senior‑level guidance, collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, and leads initiatives to improve data quality, stewardship, and compliance across the organization.
The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) is the provincial regulator that oversees Ontario’s alcohol, gaming and horse racing sectors and administers retail cannabis licensing. It issues licences and permits, sets rules and standards, monitors compliance, and enforces regulations to protect public safety and ensure the integrity of regulated industries. AGCO provides online services (iAGCO), guidance, policies, registries and resources for businesses, licensees and the public. Stakeholders rely on AGCO for transparent, consistent oversight and licensing across Ontario’s alcohol, gaming and related markets.
