Data Protection Engineer

The Data Protection Engineer at Platinum Technologies supports a critical Zero Trust initiative for a Command’s hybrid classified environment at MacDill AFB. The role focuses on tactically implementing data-centric security controls and enforcing encryption and labeling for highly sensitive information across NIPR, SIPR, and Top Secret networks. The engineer will translate high-level security architecture into concrete policies in Microsoft Purview and enterprise DRM platforms, moving the organization from an audit to a blocking posture.
