Dental Hygienist

The Dental Hygienist is responsible for performing licensed hygiene procedures, educating patients, and managing the nonsurgical periodontal program as directed by the dentist. The role involves establishing and maintaining patient care relationships, verifying health histories, and educating patients about oral hygiene and health. Clinical duties include diagnostic x-rays, blood pressure recording, prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, and co-assessing restorative treatments.
