Department Chair

The Department Chair provides academic, program, and department leadership to support Texas Southmost College’s transfer and career and technical programs. Serving as a mentor to faculty and collaborator with administrative officers, the role involves interpreting college policy, advocating for the department, and leading curriculum development to impact student learning. Effective communication is central to conveying departmental needs to the divisional dean and sharing college community concerns with the department.
