Deputy Treasurer

The Deputy Treasurer directs the provision of corporate accounting, procurement, inventory management, treasury, and vendor payment services for the Region of Waterloo. This role administers long-term borrowing and investment programs, develops corporate financial statements, and fulfills the statutory role of Deputy Treasurer per the Municipal Act. The position involves supervising managers, leading process efficiency improvements, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations.
