The Director of Cloud Engineering leads the strategy, operation, security, and financial stewardship of Magnet Forensics' cloud platform and shared engineering services. This role involves driving operational excellence, managing cloud costs through FinOps, enabling AI adoption, and leading high-performing teams to support the company's SaaS portfolio. The leader partners with cross-functional departments to ensure rapid product innovation while maintaining the highest standards for reliability, compliance, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

Define and execute cloud platform strategy supporting long-term business objectives
Lead teams responsible for cloud infrastructure, platform operations, and observability
Own cloud cost governance, forecasting, and optimization programs across the organization
Drive responsible adoption and governance of AI technologies across engineering
Establish and drive operational excellence practices including disaster recovery and governance
