Director, Internal Audit & Assurance

The Director, Internal Audit & Assurance leads the execution of Fortegra's annual internal audit plan across US and EU operations, managing audit engagements from scoping through reporting and leading SOX activities. This role serves as the day-to-day point of contact for DB Insurance Co. and involves coaching a team of auditors while maintaining technical depth in reviewing their work. The position requires developing risk-based audit plans, evaluating internal controls, and preparing materials for Audit Committee meetings.
