Director of Planning and Development

The Director of Planning and Development reports to the City Administrator and leads the Community Development Department to foster community growth, maintain the built and natural environment, and strengthen the local economy. This senior leadership role provides strategic guidance on planning, land use, and code enforcement while overseeing permitting, inspections, and third-party contractors. The position is responsible for implementing comprehensive plans, managing departmental operations, and supporting various city commissions and boards.
