Planning Director

Under the direction of the Assistant City Manager, this role plans, organizes, and directs the operations of the Planning Department, including current planning, development review, and long-range comprehensive planning. The position serves as the City’s principal advisor on land use, zoning, and development policy to the City Manager’s Office, City Council, and appointed boards and commissions. The role is responsible for directing the development, adoption, and implementation of the City’s comprehensive vision plan and ensuring a high level of service to internal and external customers.
