Director, Volunteer Programs

The Director, Volunteer Programs provides enterprise leadership for Colonial Williamsburg's volunteer programs, overseeing strategy, governance, and the administration of a workforce of over 800 volunteers. The role directly supervises a management team and establishes consistent practices for the full volunteer lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to training, scheduling, and retention. This position is responsible for expanding volunteer capacity while ensuring operational readiness and a high-quality experience for volunteers and guests.
