About this role
A Driver Trainee at Republic Services will be trained to obtain a commercial driver’s license (CDL) and then transition into a Driver role within the company’s collection lines (Residential, Commercial, Industrial, or Roll-Off). The position includes completion of a comprehensive training program with classroom and on-route instruction and provides resources to take the state CDL exam. Trainees are expected to remain employed for a period after licensure and will be placed into operational driver duties upon successful completion.
