Collins Aerospace is seeking a Hardware Electrical Engineer II to develop advanced digital electronics for mission-critical communication systems, including software-defined radios and data links. The role involves managing the full lifecycle of circuit card design from schematic capture to layout, verification, and testing within demanding aerospace environments. Candidates will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create innovative solutions that support ground, airborne, and space platforms.

Responsibilities

Design and develop high-speed digital circuit cards using FPGA and DDR memory
Perform schematic capture, PCB layout, and signal integrity analysis
Collaborate on full lifecycle hardware development from requirements to test verification
Create test plans and integrate circuit card assemblies with fixtures and cabling
Troubleshoot digital hardware designs using industry-standard test equipment

Qualifications

BS in STEM fieldMust have previously held a security clearance positionUS Work Authorization required2 years of experience in hardware designProficiency with Cadence Allegro or Siemens Mentor Graphics
