About this role

The Ontic Engineering team is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Manufacturing production team in Creedmoor, NC. This role involves planning and coordinating the manufacturing of electrical components by interpreting technical drawings and specifications to develop work instructions, processes, and test protocols. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product launches, maintain manufacturing testing systems, and resolve quality issues through failure analysis and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Interpret complex drawings and schematics to develop manufacturing work instructions
Develop prototype and pilot manufacturing builds to evaluate product designs
Design and maintain manufacturing testing systems for electrical components
Conduct failure analyses to resolve manufacturability or quality issues
Provide technical assistance and training on assembly methods and production equipment
