Emergency Management Services Director

This role directs the activities of the Emergency Management Services Department and County Emergency Operations Center, assuming command of major emergency operations and coordinating with various responding agencies. The position involves developing and implementing short and long-range goals, managing departmental budgets, and overseeing the hiring, training, and evaluation of staff. Additionally, the director plans county-wide disaster response strategies, maintains continuity of operations plans, and serves as a Medical Examiner.
