Emergency Management Specialist

This role develops and implements a multi-year training and exercise plan to build emergency preparedness, response, and recovery capabilities for Dallas County. The specialist coordinates training schedules, manages exercises using the HSEEP model, and facilitates updates to the hazard mitigation plan. The position also involves conducting capacity building activities, managing hazard mitigation grants, and serving as a duty officer during emergencies.
