Engineer I (NS)

The Engineer I positions serve as Assistant Resident Engineers in the Asheboro Resident Engineer’s Office, providing day‑to‑day management and contract administration of roadway and structure projects. The role involves supervising technicians, conducting field inspections, preparing pay estimates, handling supplemental agreements and claims, and representing the DOT in meetings with contractors, utilities, officials, and the public.
