About this role

An Electrical Safety Compliance Engineer supports global and LATAM certification efforts for electrical and electromechanical systems by conducting hands-on safety evaluations, pre-compliance testing, and regulatory compliance activities. The role serves as a technical resource for standards including UL/IEC and EU LVD, interfacing with engineering teams to ensure products meet international requirements during development and market access phases.

Responsibilities

Conduct internal electrical safety evaluations and pre-compliance testing.
Perform product construction reviews to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Support certification activities for UL/IEC, LVD, and LATAM markets.
Coordinate with NRTLs and external agencies to resolve testing issues.
Prepare technical documentation including compliance reports and risk assessments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering3-6 years of experience in electrical safety or certification
