This role involves the independent design, development, and implementation of engineering products, methods, or processes on complete projects or systems. The position requires conducting analysis and research to evaluate concepts, performing verification and validation testing, and recommending improvements in testing equipment and techniques. The engineer works independently on moderately complex technical projects while assisting on larger, very complex projects of a technical nature.
