Engineering

Under the direction of Engineering leaders, this role uses engineering principles and design software to help design, develop, and produce electrical switchgear systems and/or components to required specifications, focusing on safety, reliability, quality, value, and sustainability. The position involves performing design work, coordinating manufacturing and installation activities, and ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, and design requirements. The role requires working with purchasing and vendors, reviewing drawings for technical and regulatory compliance, and providing excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a diploma, journeyperson certification, or 4 years of experience, along with knowledge of AutoCAD, AutoDesk Inventor, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office Suite.
