Environmental Compliance Officer

The Environmental Compliance Officer enforces the City of Toronto’s environmental by-laws and regulations to protect public health, safety, and the environment. This role involves investigating complaints, conducting inspections, issuing notices, and educating the public on compliance requirements related to wastewater, water, and other municipal by-laws. The position also requires responding to sewage works and surface water spills, ensuring adequate response to high-pressure and demanding spill events.
