The Estimator coordinates project budgeting by preparing quantity surveys, obtaining subcontractor pricing, and reviewing historical cost data to ensure compliance with the scope of work. This role involves offering construction feasibility and value engineering counsel while staying current with industry materials and labor pricing trends. The position also provides administrative support to the Chief Estimator and manages the prequalification process for trade partners.
