Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights
The Capital District YMCA seeks an Executive Director to lead the Troy YMCA branch, overseeing membership, marketing, programs, facilities, staff and volunteer development, financial management, and community relations. The role reports to the CDYMCA Board of Directors and the Branch Board of Managers and requires extensive nonprofit leadership experience.
The Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights is a nonprofit organization and the only entity that pairs volunteer Child Advocates with interdisciplinary staff, attorneys, and social workers to accompany and advocate for unaccompanied and separated immigrant children in government custody. The organization works to protect children's best interests in immigration proceedings, fights for their right to be with family, and amplifies their voices through direct services, litigation, and systems change. It operates across multiple U.S. cities and accepts volunteers and donations to support its mission.
