Family Support Specialist

The Family Support Specialist is a peer with shared lived experience who supports families raising children with emotional, behavioral, mental health, or developmental challenges. This role involves providing consultation, coaching, and culturally appropriate support to help parents and caregivers actively participate in their child's treatment process and navigate systems of care. The specialist works across various environments to maximize family voice, choice, and involvement while maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.
